2 With NY Ties Among Top 10 Richest People In US, Forbes Says

Two billionaires with strong ties to New York are among the Top 10 richest people in America, according to brand-new rankings released by Forbes.

Checking in at No. 3 is the founder of Meta Platforms/Facebook Mark Zuckerberg, age 40, a White Plains native who was raised in the neighboring village of Dobbs Ferry. He has a net worth of $181 billion, says Forbes.

Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, age 82, the owner of Bloomberg LP, is ranked 10th. Bloomberg's net worth is $105 billion. Bloomberg maintains a resident in Northern Westchester, in the town of North Salem.

Checking in at No. 1 in the rankings is Testla/Space X founder Elon Musk ($244 billion).

Amazon Executive Chairman/Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos ranks second (197 billion).
